Tim Obert

Somewhere along the road, I made the decision to start recording some of the music I was writing. These days with all the technology out there, it makes it much easier for the musician like me to record music without the aide and expense of fancy studios and other musicians you would have to pay. I do this music thing for fun now days and don’t need to make a living at it anymore.
I am a drummer turned guitarist, and have always been a singer ( although some may question that). I have always loved the blues, but it seems like I like all forms of music at some point and time. Therefore, I seem to cross all sorts of genres in my works.
My latest cd CRAB HAMMER crosses into different genres such as jazz, easy listening (not elevator music), rock and yes even (Heaven forbid) rap.
This record has been two years in the making. Going down into my basement here and there and sweating and smoking like a chimney to get it done. Yea I do it for fun. So why am I so serious about it. Don’t talk to me while I’m down there. Don’t’ call me because you might interrupt a good roll I’m on. Anyway, I hope you can find something of mine that you like to listen to. Her is my email(Please no hate mail) tfloydo77@hotmail.com
Check out Misery Loves Company. My daughter Molly wrote and sang the song.
Kind of a stange mix but I really liked the way her voice turned out on this one.
Thanks CDBABY for giving us a chance to get our music heard. Tim F. Obert
