While at C.C.N.Y working towards his bachelors in music Horace D. Scott had the privilege and honor to study with jazz vocalist Sheila Jordan & world renowned bassist Ron Carter. Still, his versatility as a singer/songwriter took him further.
In 1991-1992 Horace toured with the first Equity Broadway production of the Buddy Holly Story. Also, in 1991 U.K. Pop sensation Kenny Thomas recorded his song Girlfriend co written with R & B producer Bert Price. The album went double platinum.
In 1997 Horace broke into the billboards pop 100 singles chart with a remake of the BJ Thomas / Blue Suede hit Hooked on a feeling.
