Hello Kyle and welcome to Broadjam. Thanks for the review of bird on the beach. I wrote it while walking on the beach in Florida. Mrs Kate

Thanks so much, Kyle, for taking the time to give my song Cards of Life (harmonies) a horrible review. I pray your hard work meets with more favorable reviews. All my best, Jay

Hi Jay, I wouldn't worry too much about what some punks say. Some people just weren't raised very well. I happen to think that all your music (that I've heard) is awesome. I look forward to reviewing your music. I can usually pick it out right away. God Bless.

David, I'm new to broadjam so if I was too critical please excuse any comments that were not flattering. I;m not sure if this site is going ot be for me, but I'm giving it a few months.

Hi Kyle. No, your comments weren't too critical, but I think song reviews should be more than one line or a few words. My rule of thumb is that if I don't like a song I press 'cancel' and move on to another song, but that doesn't mean that I avoid constructive criticism if that can be useful to the artist, but I have to like the song in the first instance before I review a song. Personally I want to know how my lyrics can be improved, whether the vocal is too low in the mix, whether the guitar patch suits the song etc. etc. If reviewers can point me in the right direction in these areas and more then I'm grateful. Conversely if my song is catchy, recorded well with strong lyrics, I want to know that too. Hope this makes sense., Regards. David.
