Malcolm Lally is a songwriter and composer from Galway, Ireland.

A vocalist, guitarist and classically-trained pianist he has always enjoyed writing songs and compositions weaved around strong melodies, lyrics and hooks, drawing inspiration from guitar-based songwriting influences such as Dave Matthews, John Mayer, James Mercer and Paul Draper and composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, James Newton Howard and Michael Nyman.

With experience singing and playing guitar, piano and trumpet in many different musical groups (rock bands and orchestras both brass band and musical theatre) he has a diverse pool of influences to draw on for his musical creations.

Having recently returned to a focused effort on songwriting in 2014, Malcolm has work published with Perpetual Music Group and a piano instrumental signed for the soundtrack of an upcoming documentary film. Christmas Time (Baby Are You Mine) was the Christmas FM Song Of The Year 2016.
