Tom Dews is a blues-influenced singer/songwriter, born in Georgia, and noted for his simultaneous guitar/harmonica work supporting his vocals. He's been described as having a "lived in voice", and his harmonica and slide guitar have contributed to the work of a number of other artists on recordings and in performance. He holds an endorsement from the M. Hohner Co. for harmonica studio work, won the Emerging Artist Showcase competition a the Takoma Park Folk Festival, and won a "Silver" in the 2013 Middle Atlantic Song Contest in the "Vocal Blues/Jazz category".
