John Makoso is a recording artist from Long Island, New York. John first started his professional music career as the frontman and songwriter for a popular NY Metro area band called The Neighborhood. They gained a strong local fan base playing various shows throughout Long Island, Brooklyn and Manhattan. After 2 years and some indie label recognition, John decided his style would be better suited as a solo artist. Under the artist name, Johnny Kos, he has re-emerged as a R&B- Soul singer and rapper. Working in conjunction with SUPA Starz Entertainment & Publishing and VISION Media House, he is working on his first solo project and debut EP. With soulful hooks and a spoken word style that is truly unique, Johnny is gaining in recognition as not only a songwriter but as an artist.
