Paul Barker is a UK Music Teacher/Composer who now runs and directs music teaching overseas and has composed and conducted large works and ensembles in the UK, Middle East and Hong Kong. Recent projects have included: IMAGES OF CHRISTMAS: A Contemporary Christmas Cantata for Youth Choir published by Chester Music/Music Sales -- PARADISE PARK: A Musical for Youth Theatre (Awarded 2nd place in the International Vivian Ellis Competition in UK 1999) ROQUIEM: A Rock Mass for SATB Choir premiered in Hong Kong 2006 -- ACT NOW!: A Choral and Orchestral Anthem commissioned for the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong World Environmental Conference (May 2007) and placed in the Semi-Final of the UK Songwriting Contest 2007 - UK INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION 2008 (Winner) with the piece BENEDICTUS from ROQUIEM and the Christmas Song ANGELS IN THE WIND (Semi-Finalist). Music Aid 2007 SONG CONTEST WINNER as best composer and song in Asia representing Hong Kong
