Beginning songwriter/humorist aspiring to become proficient on blues guitar, harmonica and home studio recording. So far I've posted my only recorded song, although I've written several others and compiled material for my "work in progress" website doctorblues.org. (This baby boomer finds navigating computers doable but challenging so the process is going entirely too slow.) A former journalist, I started writing again as therapy after surviving (so far) an illness so mysterious all 40 doctors consulted are completely baffled. I've spent the past two years engaged in a self taught crash course in medicine that runs the gamut of how the body works to why the present system for delivering medical care doesn't work. The experience interfacing with doctors was so bizarre, I decided to channel my anger as creative energy toward becoming the poster child for a better medical delivery system by improving communications between doctors and patients through humor.
