Hi Robert,
Thanks for the kind words about 'I'm So Glad'. It was a track that I recorded about six years ago and seems like a good fit for one of the submission opportunities I saw here. I am listening to Vortex of Memory right now. Great guitar and bass playing. Kep up the good work and it is a pleasure meeting you.

Thank you, Martin. A pleasure "meeting" you this way as well. After reviewing "I'm So Glad" earlier today, I've probably listened to it eight times now. Regardless of when it was recorded, I found it truly fascinating, because it takes the Phil Spector "Wall of Sound" thing that really was revolutionary in the use of more modern (ahead of that time) recording techniques, and brought it into the future with really modern recording techniques that resulted in such a beautiful pristine sound (I even played it next to "Be My Little Baby" to compare). It even has the Spector-ish simple hook that made me sing this song in my head over and over and over.... If I were musical director for a "girl group" related film or tv project I'd think I'd found the holy grail to be able to license that song. Again - very well done. Amazing work.

Thank you for your review of Wolf! You're review was actually very helpful and I appreciate your positive comments and suggestions. I've been planning for sometime now to go back and re-track the vox... because I know exactly what you're talking about. They were recorded in a horrible environment. All the power was lost trying to eq out all of the artifacts. Thanks again!

I don't know if you record digitally or on tape. However, if you are in Pro-Tools etc. It can help to go into the lead vocal track and seperate each line an add blank space in between. This way you can add good EQ and compression without the noise being elevated when no vocals are present. Since you do rock, the instruments cover up the rest!

Good luck
