Drew--Just heard Linen Fortress in the 6-pak and the feeling it creates blew me away. I was mesmerized, hanging on every line. Wonderful piece of music and writing, poetic in the best sense of the word. All best, Hattie
Thank you Hattie!

I do, and I really enjoy the cowriting process.
Thanks for the 5-stars on Pieces! Much appreciated.
You're welcome, I was a little ticked I didn't get selected till I played Pieces, the best tune won ðŸ'Š
Well that's very gracious of you. Thank you so much!
Hi TSW, I cant really sleep without an answer now... I need to know why most of your song names end with a capital
Because I like our song titles to have a smile, but now I Don't do that because our Library of Congress here in the Old USofA wants titles and contents to be plain Jane Bummer dude ain't that something oh well - that's the Artist in me being French I guess, Lol
Thank so much for the 50/50 on Time Well Wasted! It was a blast to record.
Carol, thank you so much for your kind and gracious review of Don't Mean A Thing! Your words are much appreciated.
Ok I finally bit the bullet and entered the 6-pack challenge. Let's see what happens.

Thank you Tristyn!!
Hey Randal! Thank you for your kind review of She's Like Fire. I saw you sent a tune. As soon as I can get a quiet moment I'll check it out! All the best.
Thanks Drew - I really think if you redo it in your own way it will be a hit!
Thanks for your review on my song "Dear God" Scott and all your kind words - best wishes!
Thank you so much for your gracious and kind review of "Hard Lessons From A Looking Glass"!! I'm proud of the content there. Very personal, and I agree...needed in this day and age of modern country. Thanks again.
Hello drew. I got a kick out of your review of look at all the family. Yep it's as vintage as it gets...1972. First song I ever wrote after becoming a Jesus followed. Do you know michael and Debbie riness? Traverse city friends.
Hi Kate! I don't know them personally, but if it's the same family I know their daughters Joanna and JaLaura.
Very dear friends. We were in campus ministry together many years ago. Look at all the family was a campus ministry classic way back then
Wow! What a small world. It definitely makes sense that it was a camp classic. It felt that way. You never know what you're getting when you do reviews, especially with no context. Haha. So you just make your best guess. Yes, the Rinesses I know are beautiful, wonderful, selfless, kind, and warm people. I imagine the rest follow suit.
okay so here is a "more modern" Mrs. Kate song. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/W8ircVaQjPI
Drew, Big talent! I love it
Thank you so much!!
Hi Drew - I just wanted to mention that I listened to your song, "Pieces", when I saw it was selected by Rex Benson, and loved it. I copied the link to a group on FB I am part of, Life, Love and Hope in an Imperfect World, and people loved it. Besides people like me, it also includes many doctors and other educated folks including a talented Dr. who grad. from Johns Hopkins. Your music is some of the most well-written I've heard in awhile, and with the right connections, you'll be on your way to the top...good luck! Susan
Wow.........I am floored, and so honored. Thank you so much!! That song is such a personal song for me, I had no idea it would speak to others the way it has. Thank you for your kind words, and for listening. All the best to you.
You're welcome, Drew. Many of us have "felt" it...from the very first note. There is such an honesty in your words that many of us can relate to. You have a gift...thanks for sharing it.
Psychic or what - just finished listening to 'Capture the wind' when I noticed your connection request! Good to meet you. Alan
You as well!
Thank you so much for your kind review of Pieces!!! When I saw it was from you I was so thrilled. I have so enjoyed listening to your stuff.
You're welcome, and thank you.
Hey Michael! Thanks for reviewing El Paso Skyline so kindly. The line at the end is "I left my hometown Roots, so I could learn to find my wings." And it's off of my latest album "Roots and Wings". I appreciate your kind words and look forward to hearing more of your stuff!!
You hit the nail on the head on Hungry and Cold. Absolutely a rough demo to get some feedback on the tune itself. Thanks for the observations.
Hi Drew, Thanks for the kind review. You're assessment of the music is spot on.
All the best to you!!
PS Funny you mention The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. I did a couple tours with them AND Steve Martin....where I was the solo opening act.... Loved those guys..... Also, I love to hear your band play and record this song...
Wow!! How cool!! The Nitty Gritty boys are one of my all time favs. And thanks for the comment...who knows, maybe we will someday. ;)
Hi Drew..... Great to meet you! Thanks so much for the great review of my song, "I'll Be Your Hero". Very thorough and insightful and Very Useful! Spot-on insight, too. This song was recorded back in 1992 when I was using a Tascam 8-track cassette Porta Studio... which was fun to use, but complicated when bouncing tracks and the EQ mixing was OK, but, per your insight, lacked the dynamics we have available today. Interestingly enough, this song is in the que for reproduction.... So, your feedback is very useful and has great timing.... So, thanks mucho for the fine review. Hope all is well with you... And stop by my site if you'd like to hear the newer songs. Best to you, Chet Nichols
Best of luck with the update! I would love to hear it when you finish.
Hi Drew, It's a small world! Thanks for an honest and useful review of Demons In Your Darkness, very glad you liked it. As you surmised it is not a current track, I wrote it in 2003 and re-recorded it in 2015, just because I like playing it! The guitar is absolutely what comes straight off my Strat and Behringer amp with just a small amount of compression to even it out across the song. There's also enough EQ to clear most of the hum. I tend to go with what I enjoy, rather than any particular sound, but it doesn't always make things commercial. I also have a penchant for the Eagles!! Just had a listen to Home - I love it!! A really beautiful song with a great deal of pathos. Will listen in again soon. Thanks again for the review. Bob
What a great song...I've stopped by your page as well, and am SO enjoying listening.
Thanks Drew.
What a great song Pieces is Drew. Well done on getting the song selected - and good luck with it. Bob
Thanks so much Bob! It's a very personal and special song; I'm excited to see where this leads.
Congrats on a fine song Drew!
Thank you so much!

Hi Alan..Nice cover of a john lennon song. I always liked that one, nice vocals and guitar effect.:-)
Thanks Darren. I haven't used the 12-String for a while, but I think it suits the arrangement. Alan
yeah it does. :-)
Thanks for the stars for "Capture the Wind", Alan!
That's ok Alan. How's it going? Hope you're ok.
You're pretty amazing!
Thanks man.
Hi Randy, Thank you for the comments and review of my song, "Come Back To Me." It is greatly appreciated.
Randy, I am CONTINUOUSLY awed by your work. I see you're interested in co-writing. I'd love to talk with you about that if you're interested.
