Since Canadian American Records included my song A Girl and Her Soldier on their radio singles album and sent it to independent radio stations world-wide in February 2012, The Music Review has listed their Top 40 Independent Country Songs with A Girl and Her Soldier appearing at No. 11!! My publisher included the song in the Americana genre so it would have a better chance at being heard outside the pop genre. This is absolutely amazing and i am so grateful for the opportunity!! YEY!

well I just came back from being interviewed on the local ABC Radio station, about my song A Girl and Her Soldier, AND they gave it airplay!! it was the most unreal thing ever, but only the beginning for this little lass!! As soon as I receive a copy I will post it, and you can all hear what I sound like not singing!!

Jill Thank you for your review of Scottish Moon in Dunfermline. This was a poem a friend wrote who has a love of Scotland as do I. I guess you would say I am a Traubadour, my love is to sing a story and that is why no chorus or hook. I will keep a thought when I have a new mix done in raising the part you mentioned....I listened to one of your songs lovely....Took piano for 2 years because of my mother.....I really wanted to play drums but was told to put them down they were for boys...How things change .......regards Delta
Delta, I was about a year into piano lessons when I first expressed a desire to quit. My mother told me I could quit when I could sit down and play anything I wanted. Well, I took lessons all the way into college, everything from classical to jazz. Music has a way of becoming part of you. It is a sweet thing. Hi Jill, thank you for your indepth and constructive review of 'Go Now', it's my first shot as a piano player as I've never been taught, but I can hear the melody and notes in my head. I will endevour to go through it again soften it and make it flow better, it's short because I ran out of idear's at that stage. :) Thanks again, Les.

That is what Broadjam is all about!! The song is composed for a video so the end section is a transitional coda to go into another segment - your point is well taken and appreciated! Thank you for your comments. I use a Technics PR-51 digital piano made by Panasonic. The quality of the piano sound was one of the main reasons I bought it years ago. -Jill Boss
