Diane. Thank you once again for your kind and generous review of 'I can see it in your eyes' (instrumental version). It is much appreciated. David

Diane. Thank you for your useful review of Dr Jazz. Your coments are very useful. The song started out as a Minor Blues tune and somehow developed into a jazzier thing. Maybe that's why the lyrics seem awkward. Regards. David

Hi David, Thank you for the kind note. (Oh, the lyrics didn't seem awkward. I was just passing along some tips I learned from taking the Pattison course.) Best wishes, Diane

Hey Diane,

Welcome to Broadjam!

Also, thanks to the very thoughtful review of my composition, "Earthways". It is the title track to my new age/jazz meditation CD, "Earthways". The tracks are longer and repetitive to instill a state of peaceful bliss (dang, sounds good to me, too! {:? D).

That said, I can see why you "got" the song after reading your quote below. My PhD in music was based on the effects music and musical vibrations have one our physical and spiritual well-being.

Stop by and listen to more if you like. I think you will like, "I Was Dreaming" ....among others.

Best,

Chet Nichols

Hi Chet, Thank you for the note. (Duh...that makes sense.) I'm new at reviewing! (New to BJ, too.)

Oh my, what an awesome thesis. And amazing music that is flowing through you.

Hi Diane,

Thanks for the kind words. I am just a seeker like most of us around BJ.

By the way, I have a fair amount of jazz material for you to enjoy, if you are interested. Check out:
"I Know Who You Are"
"Jezebel"
"Malibu Sunday"

Best

Chet
