I have just finished producing a wonderful new CD for Randy Brown ( www.brownrandy.com) called "Dream Big". It's been a big success thanks to Randy's great songwriting, guitar playing and singing. Randy was great to work with and asked me to play clarinet, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and percussion on the album as well as producing.
I am also just about finished producing a CD for The Trinity River Whalers (www.trinityriverwhalers.com), the fabulous folk group from Ft. Worth.

Bio

I have eclectic taste and enjoy playing, writing and producing many styles of music (www.gordonmcleod.com) although latey, I have involved mainly in acoustic music. I have been lucky to perform all over the US and some in Europe.I play fiddle, guitar and mandolin in the studio and live with various acts from traditional acoustic, and folk to blues, pop and jazz. In my studio in Texas I have produced several full length CD projects for a number of acoustic acts including five for Beyond The Pale(www.beyond-the-pale.com), .
About ten years ago I started the the Celtic folk group, Beyond The Pale with wife Christy and we have been to Ireland or Scotland every year for the past ten to study and perform. I also perform regularly with The Aisling String Trio (www.aislingstrings.com).
I have a deep love for Irish fiddle music and I've been lucky to meet and study with the great masters including Kevin Burke, Matt Cranitch, Martin Hayes, Tommy Peoples, Bobby Casey, Paddy Cronin.
