Darren started late as a Songwriter/Producer but is quickly developing an impressive resume. Co-writes with Dallas Austin & Darlene McCoy (Darlene McCoy's amazing debut album on EMI Gospel RELEASED AND IN STORES!!!); An award winning song in the 2004 John Lennon Song Contest (Gospel top prize); Co-writes with award winning songwriter James Day (check him out @ from my top 8 list!!). Early on it was apparent that Darren had talent as one of his first songs was heard on the Arrested Development Tour Bus during their Grammy Winning year on the road. Speech was one of the first in the industry to encourage Darren to really develop his craft -- and that he has done. From an early piano vocal songwriter to now covering all genres his talent has clearly blossomed. His musical ear which ranges from Joni Mitchell, Keane, and Coldplay to The Neptunes, Dallas Austin, and Rodney Jerkins productions is evident in his wide range of co-writes and elements in his tracks.
