Bio

Deadlyne was born in 1996 in Wilmington, Delaware. Friends since high school, the band quickly immersed themselves in performing and songwriting, making waves across the East Coast with their punk-metal-rock musical style and tight, mind-and-eardrum-blowing live shows. In recent years, Deadlyne has settled into a style marked by a wide dynamic range and even wider range of influence. You may hear metal one moment, hip-hop the next. Punk and classic rock are also audible at any given point in Deadlyne's repertoire. The three-piece format has enabled the band to simplify the essences of many styles, and spit them out as a style uniquely Deadlyne. The band signed on with Buzz Factory Records out of Queens, NY shortly after inception, and released a vinyl single, "Revolution In A Minor," and a full length CD, "11:11." In 1997, Deadlyne shifted to Delaware-based FBN Records, releasing several EP/CD's and two more full length CD releases, "Face The Music" and "Deadlyne 2002". The band was voted Best Metal Artist in the Philly Music Awards, and has garnered airplay across the East Coast on both college and commercial radio. Their 2001 Metallica parody, "Napster of Profits", enjoyed regular rotation on Ocean City, Maryland's 96 Rock, among others in the region. The band has performed live on the air in several markets, most notably on 94 WYSP in Philly on two occasions. These days, Deadlyne prefers all ages shows to the jaded club scene, for their pure spirit and raw energy.
