Airport '77 started in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 1998 and has played New
York City venues such as the sorely missed Coney Island High, as well as a
long residency at Williamsburg's legendary Charleston Club on Bedford Ave.

Primarily composed of lead singer/songwriter Arthur Schlenger, Airport '77
loves rockin' songs and songwriting, having gained inspiration from the
talents of the Replacements, the Velvet Underground, Elliott Smith (rip)
and Liz Phair.
