anne morency has been performing in the seattle area since the late '90s, serving as vocalist for several bands. since leaving the electronic band electron love theory to focus on her solo career in 2001, she has performed many shows, and has opened for rising stars tart and laura veirs. she is currently embarking on another round of gigs with her band, and will be recording her first full-length album in late 2005.

a firm believer in the diy philosophy, anne writes all her music and programs her own loops. with the recent addition of guitarist andrew boscardin and bassist joel grow to her lineup, she has managed to create a fluent synthesis of electronic and organic sounds.
