I guess you can call me an alternative classical composer with a country flair. Usually, I compose because there is something that really captivates me; and, I channel this idea into a musical work. Sometimes, the idea may be from something in God's creation; sometimes, it is from something that may have inspired me growing up; other times, it just may be something from Scripture. In either way, I write out of my life and let that story become a musical piece. Hope you enjoy!

By the way, several of my musical works are up for sale as full scores on Sheet Music Plus at https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/james-alexander-pavlic/2244 for your information. A nice description is included as well along with an audio file on certain works to give you a taste of what the music is. Some works will have some reductions or improvements in due time. May He bless you in greater measure!

BIO

I am a musician/composer who is always seeking in every way to stretch creative boundaries with my music. This usually involves me trying to blend various styles together... even styles that may not seem to go good together.
I was named a finalist in the 2013 International GASC contest for my Chamber work "balloon Ride" and now for a second time in 2017 for my new Instrumental "O How the Winds Are Changin !

GASC : This beautifully-orchestrated waltz-inspired thematic comes across stunningly. I love the emotional contrast between the light and whimsical as it moves into the dark and dramatic (Just like the changing of the winds )....

You are very welcome Ionut!

Hello Alexander. Thanks for the review of "Who Can Stand Before His Cold?" The idea for the song came from King David in the book of psalms...and I took it from there. Merry Christmas! Your friend in FL, Mrs. Kate
