Where Michael Joy's first CD had an underlying current of hope that ran through each song, this record is maybe a look into the darker side of this very talented singer songwriter. Equally mesmerizing as the his first effort, but with a dark foreboding element that gives a depth of melancholy that is hard to shake. But it's a feeling that you don't want to shake.
