JD began his interest in music very early, playing the drums for many years. In addition, his mother, a piano teacher, began giving him piano lessons at age 5. JD also plays trumpet and sings with powerful emotion. JD has been a professional musician for over 15 years and has performed many concerts with a variety of bands including Hot Stuff, ABBA Explosion, and Schaffner. He is well known in Germany for his entertaining stage performances. JD also had a collaboration in 2002, "I Still Can Hear Your Voice", with violin virtuoso and international star, Vanessa Mae. As a producer, JD was involved with the remix for "The Sparks", which won him a gold record. As a songwriter, JD writes lyrics from the heart and integrates corresponding melodies into sophisticated chord structures, evoking the same emotions for the listener. As an engineer, JD mixed and mastered all of the tracks for "In My Dreams". In short, JD's music is powerful and memorable and he has the talent and experience to bring it to life on stage. He is looking forward to a North American tour in the very near future to expand his fan base beyond Europe.
