Walk Your Life
In her new album, "Walk Your Life", Lauri digs deeper into that mission of leading people back to their hearts. Collaborating with other talented, "conscious" musicians, she has created what she likes to call "a soundtrack to the heart-centered path". The message is one of unity, accessing the heart that connects us all as we walk our lives. The sound is rich and eclectic, showing Lauri's versatility, and bringing each song to life in an artistically creative way that is also highly accessible. The tracks feature musicians Eric Joseph Montgomery (who also co-produced), Rick Bouvette, Craig Benelli, Brian Harris, Gary Skye, Michael Mandrell, Matt W., and Mary Rowell.
Lauri originally hails from the San Francisco Bay Area, where she began her performing career. She has a diverse background, having appeared in regional theaters (in a variety of musicals), jazz clubs, cabaret venues, in pop and dance bands, and traveling the world on cruise ships. She has shared the stage with the likes of Patti LaBelle and George Benson, has sung back-up on recordings of such artists as Diana Ross, and had the great honor of singing with the legendary Boston Pops. Lauri holds a Masters degree from the Boston Conservatory and makes her home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon.
