First thing, you should know there are guitars, drums, bass, Mellotron, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond, and samples. Oh, and really great catchy lyrics. The CD starts out in a pick up truck, cruising the cost line on a Friday night. Then, it takes a turn to a cigar smoking lounge song that changes tempo into a slightly heavier colorful chorus. The next song has a Spanish stoner rock feel. The Spanish comes from the nylon string guitar over the chorus. The fourth song is a medium speed punk riddle that I'm pretty sure you will not figure out unless you read the lyrics. Number four is one of the few abstract songs on the album. The fifth song is a tale of a backwoods family that loved each other so much they sometimes kissed. The next song is an inner look at ones heart, who made mistakes in life, and drank them self to an impossible blood alcohol level. Number seven is a lucky feel good story about being young, and sneaking into other people?s houses. Song eight is a creepy song about a peeping tom with a mind-blowing twist at the end! Next, is a fast paced western rocker song that goes out with a boom. Number ten is a vampire sound experiment with vintage gear. It has lots of weird sounds and cool effects. Last but not least number eleven is a love song about the perfect relationship that really wasn?t that perfect after all.
