Burning the midnight oil

Arden Park Roots has finally announced a date for the release of their long-awaited 4th album. "Burning The Midnight Oil", the band wrote in a post on their Facebook page will be coming out on February 28th, 2014. The album is being release by Anxiety Boy Records, a full service independent label designed to help national bands network with California bands in the Surf/Rock/Reggae genre. This will be the fourth studio album for the band, and their first release since "Pipe Dreams" rose to #2 in the iTunes Reggae category in 2011. The band has spent over 200 hours working on the full length album that will include 12 or 13 new songs, including a cover of "Jolene" by the band, Cake. The album is being recorded out of Pus Cavern in Sacramento, CA with producer, Joe Johnston. Creating a lot of interest is a collaboration on the album with the legendary Bay Area rapper, "Spice 1", who is featured on the song"The Music". Arden Park Roots new album was recently named to the prestigious list of "Most Anticipated Albums" from The Pier Magazine, joining the ranks of SOJA, 311, The Dirty Heads, Rebelution, Ziggy Marley, Tribal Seeds, The Expendables, Matisyahu, Aer, Slightly Stoopid, and so many more!
