Russell Scarborough discovered pianist Tim McDonald in 2002 in the music store where he worked. Russell soon formed a trio around Tim McDonald and toured around the East coast. In Nov. of 2003 Russell Started recording his album featuring Tim McDonald on piano and including Dave Hofstedtler on Bass. The album was released early 2004 and was immediately requested on many radion stations local and international. The song Aargh, Mr. Scarborough is featured in the movie, "A Perfect Fit" by Ron Brown. The album includes the very beautiful tune, "Waltz for Frank" written shortly before the passing of Tim's mentor Frank Mantooth. This album is among the very best of jazz albums released to date. Currently Tim is pianist for Country artist and legend Mark Chesnutt.
