Following their recent Big Day Out performance and East Coast Tour, Adelle (QLD alternative/blues/rock band) is running rife across the stages of Australia, live they are a force to be reckoned with, sonically, visually and mentally they will amaze you. The songs have a definite emotion with thrashings of rock and moments of calm, the lyrics are clever yet sharp and proclaimed loudly from the soul.

Adelle

From surreptitious alt. rock act to one of Brisbane/Gold Coast's most anticipated and inspired new bands. The release of their subsequent LP "Hello Sane Age Sins" following 2007's cult listening "When Your Vices Aren't Vices" is set to ensure that 2009 will see Adelle transition from alluring yet peculiar harmonious indulgence to enthralling, impulsive and mesmeric main stage act.

After recording "When Your Vices Aren't Vices" independently throughout much of 2006 at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music Adelle spent much of 2007 on tour with their debut disc. After numerous road trips and the cumulative Australia wide "She's The Inventor Tour" spanning September, October & November the band had featured alongside roughly a hundred acts covering the entire rock sub-genres. What's more they had converted fans from the majority of said shows regardless of pre-disposed musical tastes.

The end of 2007 saw a new episode in the bands continuing expansion teaming up with the intuitive Guy Cooper of Serotonin Productions (A Secret Death, Transport, The Combovers) for their following studio endeavours. This resulted in the existence of not only "Hello Sane Age Sins" LP but 10 video clips & live documentary footage to be complied into a feature length DVD package.

In the meantime Adelle completed two more national tours including their highly successful headlining "Storm chasers Tour" in which the band literally took the show on the road transforming the stage every night with a multitude of artwork banners, cab covers, stage props and innovative stand alone lighting not to mention a compelling performance. Furthermore the band encouraged local fans to join them on the road resulting in a literal musical caravan of automobiles travelling the country.

It is clear the bands adventurous activities and musings have not gone unnoticed with Adelle appearing on the Big Day Out 09 festival. Combined with the epic amounts of material the band has lingering in the sides in the form of their upcoming release and future ambitions, crowds may only guess what might happen next...
