Stu Cat

Born & raised in Miami, Florida's Dade County West Perrine area, Stu Cat music has moved all over the Eastern Region in areas like Miami, Maryland, D.C., and New England! Stu Cat hit the Miami, Florida scene in the mid-late 90's with friends Corey Harris (Better know as Fish) and Gerald "G-Man" Hoggan to form a hood Rap group named, "Yard Boys". The group was named after the nickname of a Project Housing Unit where they all use to sell drugs and record songs. The group got discovered by a local label owner by the name of Lorenzo "Live" Haynes who really admired the young talented individuals because of their fearlessness. After about 2 years together Stu Cat seemed to be the most focused out the group and parted ways-"Fish had called me up one night saying he wanted to talk, and he told me that he was feeling like him and G-Man were holding me back. So he said that he thought that it'll be better for us if I went solo" says Stu Cat.

Stu Cat made the decision to go solo, and in 2004 left the beautiful weather of Miami for the horrible cold of Boston Massachusetts!
