Swearbox were formed in November 1998 from the ashes of various unsigned bands from the Lanarkshire area of Scotland.
Originally playing under the name of 'Sweet F.A.' the boys gigged extensively through Scotland and enjoyed bookings at Glasgow's finest 'unsigned' venues. This in turn brought them many radio and TV and radio appearances. As you would expect this helped the band gain even more confidence and even more high rated gigs followed, again to rave reviews.
The band decided to change there name to 'Swearbox' after too many mistaken identities with their former name!
2005 found them hard at work in the studio recording their first album length CD, 'Do Me A Favour.' Featuring 10 of their best tracks, this CD demonstrates why they must surely be regarded as one of Scotland's, if not the UK's best kept secrets.
