Lizet Vasquez - Voice Talent

I would like to share my unfortunate work experience with Mr. BOB LAMPKIN and the company he represents "WLS MEDIA GROUP, LLC" (WORLD LANGUAGE STUDIOS). This company, that offers post production services, is based in ATLANTA, GEORGIA. I am a voiceover talent, based in Lima, Peru. Mr. BOB LAMPKIN has contacted me through e-mail.

In November 2016, I was asked to voice some videos in Latinoamerican Spanish for a health brand (at that time, I was promptly paid for my services). Then, in January 2017, Mr. BOB LAMPKIN asked again for my voiceover services, for which he indicated that, this time, he would pay at the end of the project. Having had the first experience as a base, I proceeded to provide my service.

Unfortunately, one year has passed and the person in question has not kept his word. After countless emails and calls, this person told me that the end customer did not pay him. Great was my surprise when I could get in touch with the clients (I will kept the brand unnamed to show respect for them) and they have indicated that, indeed, they had already paid Mr. BOB LAMPKIN for the services in July of 2017. This mean that Mr. BOB LAMPKIN HAD LIED, deliberately omitting to pay for my work.

A year has passed, and he was given multiple options and payment facilities, but he never honored his word and only made a deposit of 5% of his debt. This is outrageous, and therefore, I inform and advise my colleagues to be careful and not establish any working relationship with the person or company aforementioned.

Thanks for your attention.

Bob, just listened to Andante Romance & Wonder. What a great track. Really like the melody. Would like to hear a longer version of that same piece. Very nice work here!!

Hey man, I appreciate the feedback. Pulling double duty experimenting with a new sound library and getting my chops back after being on hiatus for a few years. Which sample libraries do you use?

Sounds great! I've been using East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra for my orchestral sounds. The installation process is a little difficult but the library is amazing (really like it). I have the Gold version of that library and I love it. I am also using Vir2 Mojo Horn Section for bigband/jazz/funk sounding horns and it's fantastic for that. I'm also a big fan of the Spectrasonics stuff for more modern sounds for grooves and synth things (Omnisphere and Sytus RMX are fantastic). Best of luck to you Bob. Feel free to send any questions about these libraries.
