According to the All Music Guide (www.allmusic.com), we were one of the most popular groups in the Detroit, Michigan area from 1967 to 1969. We played the Grande Ballroom on many occasions, opening for The Byrds, Procol Harum, B.B. King, Albert King, Moby Grape and on occasion, we were the headliner. After the demise of Wilson Mower Pursuit, I recorded one of my original songs, "She Makes Me Happy", for Capitol Records with a group called The Shaggs. A heavily Beatles influenced song.
Note, this picture was taken in December 1967 at the Grande Ballroom the first time we played there. We opened for Moby Grape that night.

Just recorded a new song, "Changing Over", written and sung by Roy Rouse. Roy and I recorded on Capitol Records back in 1969. His version of "Mean Woman Blues", which we recorded for Capitol on the flip side of "She Makes Me Happy", has been described by others as the best version in the history of Rock and Roll.
