Pianist and composer, interested in using the standard tunes and forms to make interesting and different songs that are enjoyable to the listener. This involves using harmonic patterns that are different from what went before and making some changes to song forms.
I hope the listener finds my music enjoyable and wants to hear more!

"Pop-Classic" is a genre that refers to how pop tunes were played some time

Well, yeh, but there were so many exceptions back then that we thought of it as all "only music", then there was country and western, jazz, blues and rock and roll. When musicians began becoming over-educated, LOL we became bombarded with multiple genres, most of which no-one but a musician could possible understand. Even today, most people only think of it as "only music" and leave the genre classification to the PhD's, who are wrong as much as they are right. Hopefully the music gurus will wise up enough to see what the real reason for the loss in sales is, (it is NOT Internet Piracy) and we will get back to a kind of music world similir to the one real artists like Buddy Holly recorded all of their hits on a reel-to-reel recorder in a Texas garage. Until then, sales will cointinue to fall.
