Midnight Siren

Karen Maria Capo, co-writer and lead vocalist of Midnight Siren, began her career on Broadway at the age of 11 in the musical DUDE by the authors of HAIR. She performed in various plays and cabarets until she completed her studies at the prestigious School of Performing Arts in New York.

After moving West to pursue a career as a songwriter and vocalist in several Los Angeles-area original bands, Karen set attendance records and performed in such well-known venues as Club Lingerie, FM Station and The World Famous Palomino Club. At the same time, Karen Maria had the pleasure of having a national release of "Can I Come By Tonight?" for which she penned the lyrics. She is a member of ASCAP and the Actors Equity Association.

Since the release of their debut CD 'Instead of Sleeping' Midnight Siren earned the Featured Artist spot in Jazz at CD Reviews by You. The music is in rotation on both FM radio stations and digital radio worldwide. In February 2007, Midnight Siren received a rave review from Editor David Cole of In The Basement Magazine, alongside Natalie Cole Gladys Knight, Diana Ross and a host of other exemplary musicians.
