Finally after more than a twenty-five years of writing songs and performing in basements, back yards and living rooms, Michael Franceus has joined the Dallas music scene.

Originally from New Jersey, Michael married a Texas girl and moved to Dallas in 2000. While he was settling in to his new life, Michael never stopped playing guitar and writing songs. He studdied piano, guitar, voice and music theory at Brookhaven College and has continued to hone his craft. Ask him what he wants to be when he grows up and he’ll still smile and tell you “a guitar player.”

His song stylings range from the mellow bitter-sweet “Ill Go On” to the upbeat “Man with the Heart of Gold” with it’s lead guitar riff that keeps you humming the rest of the day.

Michael is a member of the Dallas Songwriters Association and can be found performing at Open Mics and Songwriters Showcases across North Texas.
