ABOUT MONEY MOSS

Mark "Money" Moss was born on August 25, 1988. - Born in the Bronx, Raised in Brooklyn. The name Money Moss came partially from his name (Mark Moss) and as stated by him "...Moss is my name, Moss is green, Money is green, and i love Money...I'm Money Moss." Money Moss started out as a DJ playing at different parties around Brooklyn at the age of 10. "At the young age of 10, working hours was a big problem because i was'nt really able to stay out that long at night; especially if it was a school night" Money Moss says. Even though his working hours were a problem, Money Moss still managed to make at least $150 - $250 each party. "When i got my money, the first thing i did with it was go Down town Brooklyn, to Beat Street, to buy me like $100 or more worth of records". "I remember at every party or block party, i had to use a crate or a little bench that we had, just to stand on because i was so small i could'nt reach the turn tables(lol.)" After a while, Money Moss had stopped playing out at parties because he says it started to effect his school work. " Later on i joined basketball teams, football teams, and the track team...i was just busy with school and sports." At the age of 15, Money Moss was now a sophmore in Paul Robeson high school, and was "done" with the sports....he got into animation, and beat making. " I've always knew how to draw...i been drawing since i was real small...i still draw 'til this day...i wanted to do animation, and gaming, but then i realized i was more into music." - He decided to begin making beats. Currently at the age of 18, he feels that he is ready for the music business and learned alot over the years. Mark "Money" Moss will be attending college in Fall 2006.
