Gneeva writes music in various genres as a creator of music theatre. Having been a member of SPECTRUM (patterened after a capella group, a women's folk group, Sweet Honey in the Rock), for nearly seven years, this former church pianist and classically trained vocalist realized she is more interested in the creative process than performing on stage. "A Little Peace Song" is one of four of her original songs that she introduced to SPECTRUM and was first performed at a Peace Bell Rally at the Collingwood Arts Center in Toledo, Ohio, in 1988, shortly after she joined the group. It was also featured in the group's first recording. Her brother, Milo's reggae group, Midnight Sun, may be including this message of peace in their live performances across Northern California.
