52metro originated in the summer of 2001 when Vince Smith decided to take his many years of experience with other bands and start his own project. After several member changes a final line up was reached consisting of Vince Smith (vocals/guitar), Peter Lee (guitar/vocals), Dan Lee (bass/vocals), and Colin Hansen (drums). Hailing from the brew city (Milwaukee, WI), 52metro has gained significant recognition through energetic live performances and the releases of their two ep (self titled/2003) and (Self Hypnosis For Modern Day Living/2004 ) and upcoming debut full-length (Tattoos and Broken Hearts/June 2005) to be released on Turn Pike Records. Creating high-energy punk rock, melodic vocals, luring nonstop harmonies, catchy guitar riffs, and driving beats, these guys are making their mark in the Midwest music scene impressing audiences everywhere they go.
